Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) was developed in 2000 over in Australia. In 2007 it was brought to the UK to help address the growing need for mental health awareness. The MHFA courses are designed to educate managers and employees support others, help de-stigmatise Mental Health and creating an awareness of mental health first aid being on a par with physical first aid.

This course will help attendees to deliver on your organisations wellbeing strategy. MHFA Champions will have: 

​

• Knowledge and confidence to provide Mental Health First Aid for the most common issues.

• An understanding of how to help build a mentally healthy workplace, challenge stigma and support positive wellbeing.

The training includes a combination of facilitated group exercises, presentations, videos and the includes MHFA Workbook. Students will receive a MHFA Champions Certificate at the conclusion of the course.

MHFA is a licensed provider of Mental Health First Aid Instructor Training accredited by the Royal Society for Public Health.
